Rochester Man Accused of Threatening to Kill Clerk at Marion Rd. SE Kwik Trip
33-year-old Abdirahman Mohamed Sufi is charged with one count of felony terroristic threats. The complaint alleges he was seen in the Marion Rd. SE Kwik Trip arguing with a female.
The victim and audio-equipped cameras heard Sufi threatening to assault the woman he was with. Sufi then attempted to leave the store with cold chicken that he did not pay for, the complaint says.
The victim said he informed Sufi he had to pay for the chicken and that Sufi went to the counter, where he also attempted to purchase cigarettes.
Clerk Threatened After Service Refusal
During the transaction, the victim said Sufi presented two forms of ID’s, which caused confusion of which ID was current. Sufi became angry, began to yell, cursed at the victim, was refused service and told to leave the store, the court document says.
A statement from the victim and footage with audio indicated Sufi threatened to kill the clerk, according to the complaint. Police took Sufi into custody and trespassed him from the store.

After being brought to the Olmsted County Jail, Sufi was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital after becoming unresponsive for an unknown reason, the complaint says.
He has since been discharged and returned to the jail, according to Olmsted County Adult Detention Center records.
Prior Cases
Court records indicate the alleged threats occurred while Sufi was out on $50,000 conditional bail for an assault case he was charged in this past January.
