It’s National Dog Day – Woof
National Dog Day, it's a real thing, and judging by the amount of people I know who love their 4 legged fur babies, it certainly is a good thing.
National Dog Day started as a way to honor dogs, both mixed and purebred, for the wonderful ways they enhance our lives. There is a website dedicated to the day, you can check it out here.
While it is no secret that I do not have any dogs now, in fact we have two cats, I really love dogs. I grew up with bigger dogs, and would really love to have a dog again. Maybe someday soon. Who doesn't love to see the pictures and videos of dogs with small children? They are so sweet, makes me miss the dogs I had when I was younger.
Of course, if I do happen to add a dog to my family, I will have to look at the Steele County Humane Society, and adopt. They have a few great dogs available now.
Share those treats with the dogs, they will show their love forever.
