Incredibly Unique New Restaurant and Venue Opens in Minnesota
This sounds like such a fun place to hang out, I could spend a lot of time at this new restaurant/venue that just opened today in Minnesota. It's located in Uptown, so about an hour and a half from Rochester.
The place is called Arts + Rec Uptown (if they aren't making a Parks and Rec reference on purpose I'll be a little sad). On their website, they say they're "an art-forward entertainment venue serving a chef-driven menu and expertly crafted cocktails." So the whole venue features work from local artists who use all different forms of art to express themselves.
There's lots of stuff to check out at Arts + Rec. There's a rooftop patio restaurant, an "intimate" black box theater, a speakeasy, and "an artist-designed 9-hole mini golf course." I could probably spend all day at this place. Grab some food on the rooftop, head to the mini golf course, get some drinks at the speakeasy, and end the day at a show at the black box theater.
Another Artist-Focused Mini Golf Course in MN
There's not just one mini golf course that features local artists, but two! You've got this new one at Arts + Rec. There's also one on the rooftop of the Walker Art Center that's designed by a different artist every year. It's only open until the end of September so check it out soon!
