Hit the Golfing Green for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota
Golf has always intrigued me. I don't think I'd be good at it, but I do think I'd have fun driving the golf cart around.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota Golf For Kids' Sake is coming up, which means it is time to register to reserve your spot.
Waseca Lakeside Club is hosting the event on May 24. Check-in and lunch begin at noon. The shotgun start begins at 1 pm (each tournament is a 4-person scramble with a shotgun start), and the winners will be announced at 6 pm.
If you happen to be busy that day, don't fret because this year the event spans two more days!
The next event day is June 21 at Legacy Golf in Faribault, and the last tournament is July 12 at Dodge County Club. The schedule will look identical to the event in Waseca.
You can participate in as many days as you'd desire, but if you do all three you can compete for the Triple Champion award.
It couldn't get better. All you have to do to support this organization is spend some time dusting off your sporty side.

All proceeds from Golf for Kids' Sake go toward making one-to-one mentoring matches between 'Bigs' (adult volunteers) and 'Littles' (youth in the community).
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota was awarded Agency of the Year in 2017 and 2018 for its outstanding work in supporting and building up the youth of the area.
