My dad's favorite meal is a toss-up between lasagna and seafood lasagna (if you've never had the latter and you like seafood, it's a must-try).

So, yes I have eaten my fair share of the dish throughout my lifetime. No complaints though, Lasagna is delicious. It's warm and filling (veryvery filling).

A nonprofit, Lasagna Love, is making and delivering free, you guessed it, lasagnas for any families who are finding themselves struggling.

You can request a meal once a month, and volunteers in Owatonna will bake and drop-off the goods. Additionally, you can nominate someone for a home-cooked meal. You could send it to a frontline worker, a teacher heading back to school, or anyone else who needs a hand.

If you dabble in the kitchen (and won't accidentally poison people like me), Lasagna Love is constantly looking for more volunteers. If you are like me and can't cook to save your life, you can always sponsor a Lasagna Chef.

Lasagna Love was established at the beginning of the pandemic when the founder, Rhiannon Menn, was looking for a way to support moms in her community. Since its beginning, Lasagna Love has grown into a national movement, with thousands of families who cook and deliver meals.

So, whether the pandemic has brought you extra struggles or you're just needing some extra help, head to the website and request a decadent homemade meal to enjoy.
