Heavy Rains Possible In Southeastern Minnesota Wednesday
Even though the temperatures will not be very warm Wednesday, the National Weather Service says there is the chance of some scattered severe storms, the main threat being high winds and some hail, and some heavy rains are possible in southeastern parts of the state. Amounts from 2-3 inches could cause some flash flooding.
The biggest risk area for severe weather, including an isolated tornado, is in the I-90 area and areas to the south.
Things can change quickly and if you have any outdoor activities planned be sure to keep an eye on the sky and stay in touch with local media for the latest information.
This is severe weather awareness week in Minnesota. Gordy Kosfeld has been putting up posts all week about severe weather. Ironically before he knew the forecast, today's was about flooding.
