The Freeborn County Fair begins Tuesday in Albert Lea. For the price of gate admission you can enjoy free shows in the Grandstand.

Headliners this year starting at 8:30PM each evening will be:

  • Tuesday: LoCash. There's still a few days left for you to register to win general admission and perhaps a meet and greet with LoCash at the Ashley for the Arts festival in Arcadia, Wisconsin, August 11-13. Go to the Kat Kountry 105 contest tab and register to win.
  • Wednesday: Chris Janson. Janson performed at this summer's Republican National Convention. His first top five hit was "Buy Me a Boat" from earlier this year. He also wrote Tim McGraw's hit "Truck Yeah."
  • Thursday: Jerrod Niemann. Niemann has six Top 40 hits and co-wrote "That Girl is a Cowboy" for Garth Brooks.
  • Friday: Ted Nugent. Everyone's heard of "Cat Scratch Fever." And his performance has sparked some protests.
  • Saturday: Charlie Daniels Band. Plain and simple, he's a legend.

There will be a Demo Derby at 4PM in the Grandstand to wrap up the Freeborn County Fair.
