Federated Insurance Donates $50K to Owatonna Foundation
"Giving back to communities is at the heart of who we are as a company," says Julie Rethemeier, Director of Public Relations and Advertising for Federated Insurance, in reference to a $50,000 donation to the Owatonna Foundation. "Federated Insurance is proud to support the Owatonna Foundation and its legacy of dedication to the community."

Owatonna Foundation raises money to "fund projects in the community related to education, community, recreation, and the arts," according to a press release. Owatonna Foundation "has committed more than $13 million dollars in grants and scholarships to local organizations and students" since its inception in 1957.
Recent foundation donations include $250,000 for expansion of Community Pathways of Steele County and $50,000 for a lighting and rigging system at Little Theatre of Owatonna. Capital projects over the years include the Owatonna Public Library, Four Seasons Centre, River Springs Water Park and Hospice House of Owatonna.
