The Faribault Falcons girls tennis team fell today to the only Rochester high school not in the state rankings.  Rochester John Marshall.  Head Coach Jeff Anderson says the Rockets are a "solid team."

John Marshall won 5-2.  Coach Anderson says #4 singles Bailey Peterson "had an impressive first varsity win of the season at singles."  "Bailey jumped to an early lead in the first set.  She was serving well and was using just the right amount of aggressiveness."  Peterson eventually won a tie-breaker 10-8 to win the match.

The other Falcons win came at #3 doubles with Kate Jasinski and Rylie Starkson where coach Anderson says, "they did a great job of controlling the match from the very beginning."  Scores were 6-0, 6-2.
