Faribault Girls Hockey Starts Season Undefeated, Not Ranked
The Let's Play Hockey girls high school rankings in Minnesota had defending Section 1A Champion Red Wing in the top twenty despite not winning a game yet this year. Faribault defeated Red Wing 5-0 on November 15 and the first rankings were released November 18. The Wingers are currently 0-4 and have been outscored 29-2.
The Faribault Falcons are 3-0 and have outscored their opponents 20-1 with wins over Albert Lea, Waseca and Red Wing. The Falcons travel to Rochester Century (0-2) for a 7:30 p.m. start Tuesday at the Rochester Recreation Center. Faribault will be home this Saturday to take the ice against Rochester John Marshall at 11:00 a.m. at the Faribault Ice Arena.
