Stores will open with treats and specials. The Whispering Oaks invites folks to stop for treats from 1-4PM and check out the display of Santas throughout the building.

Santa Bingo will be played at 2PM in the City Council chambers where area kids can win prizes from area merchants. After the last game, Santa will arrive with a goody bag for the children.

The Methodist Church will offer a soup lunch from 11AM to 2PM. New this year is a kids cookie decorating contest at the Ellendale Muni from noon to 2PM. The Vibrant Life Church will be the site of a craft and vendor show from noon to 4PM.

A tree lighting has been added this year, which will take place at 5PM on Main Street. Church choirs will carol through the city and then gather at the site of the tree lighting.

People are also encouraged to donate their slightly used winter clothing, which will be dispersed to local school children. Coats, gloves, mittens and scarves and such may be dropped off at Vibrant Life Church or Floors4-U.
