The Dundas Dukes and Miesville Mudhens play each other in the next round of the Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament.  Dundas edged Victoria 3-2.  Miesville got by Chaska 2-1.  Both games went 13 innings.

Defending Class B Champion Chanhassen faces Blaine Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Dassel in the other winner's bracket semi-final.  Dundas and Miesville square off 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Maple Lake.

Elimination bracket games today are Northfield against Moorhead Braves at 4:30 p.m. and Chaska takes on Victoria at 7:00 p.m. in Delano.

Victoria scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th to tie their game with Dundas.  The Dukes had 14 hits, Victoria Vics 12 hits in the game.

Todd Mathison started the game for Dundas, going 8 1/3 innings with 11 strikeouts, no walks, 9 hits, 2 earned runs.

Alec Holcomb got the win after throwing 3 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, 4 strikeouts, 1 walk, 2 hits allowed.

Charlie Ruud earned the save throwing the final inning with no strikeouts or walks and one hit allowed.

Mike Ludwig and Jonathan Bishop had RBIs, Carson Jones and Nat Van Roekel had 3 hits, Patrick Wadzinski, Drew Sathrum 2 hits each for Dundas.

In the 13th the Dukes got a one out single by Wadzinski, Josh Maus was hit by a pitch.  The two advanced on a ground out.  Wadzinski scored on a wild pitch.

Jacob Dickmeyer threw 12 strong innings for Miesville, allowing 3 hits.  The 1 run was not earned.  Dickmeyer struck out 11, walked 2.  Chris Olean threw the final inning to get the victory, allowing 3 hits, striking out 2 with no walks while facing 6 batters.

The Mudhens left the bases loaded in the 9th, 10th and 12th innings, walking off with a two out, two strike single by Deryk Marks scoring Austin Ladoux from second base.  Ladoux was running for Jacob Dickmeyer, hit by a pitch to start the 13th inning.

Lake City native and St. Olaf multi-sport star Brian Sprout gave Miesville a 1-0 lead in the 4th inning with an RBI double.  Chaska tied with a run in the 6th inning.
