While cruising on Lake Minnetonka with Vikings players is sure to bring up memories of the infamous 'Love Boat' cruise, this is far from that.

Coming up on June 16th you have the opportunity to cruise Lake Minnetonka with Vikings legends Robert Griffith, Bryant McKinnie and Byron Chamberlain all for a good cause.

The cruise is $125 per ticket and includes a 2-hour cruise, a cash bar, food included with the price of the ticket, autographs from the players, and photos with the players. All the money raised will go to Robert Griffith Foundation, which provides college scholarships to underprivileged high school seniors.

The ticket price goes up to $150 after June 11th, so you better act quick if you want to jump on board the cruise.

Vikings' fans will remember the scandal in 2005 when 17 members of the Vikings decided to take a cruise on Lake Minnetonka with several prostitutes flown in from Atlanta and Florida.

Players on the cruise included McKinnie, Daunte Culpepper, Mewelde Moore, Pat Williams, Bryant McKinnie, Nate Burleson, and rumored ringleader of the event, Fred Smoot. Several players were charged with misdemeanors due to certain events that happened on the cruise.

The event happened just as the Wilf family was taking over the franchise, and it inspired the team to come up with a code of conduct to discourage events like this from happening in the future, and so far, so good.
