Cardinals Comeback Not Enough
Thursday night the Bethlehem Academy Cardinal boys basketball team managed to come back against the tough Goodhue Wildcats. Friday night as they were down against the Buccaneers, they tried really hard but could not get ahead this time.
After a rough first half, the Cardinals were only down by 10 at half 29-19. In the second half, they got it to within 5 at one point. And something else went wrong. The already short-handed team lost Luke Donkers to some type of knee injury.
Grant McBroom had a great night for the Buccaneers leading with 25 points. The Cardinals fought to the end but could not get their shots to drop and WEM won 58-45.
