Bethel Church in Owatonna has a community supper ministry. They hold a community supper every Wednesday evening, serving from 5pm to 6pm. This is open to the public, anyone is welcome to attend. They do not charge for the meals, but, they do have a jar for any free-will donations.

I usually attend this supper, I have great conversations, and on a night when a lot of families are trying to get to different activities, it is nice to not have to cook a meal for mine.

Every year the group that prepares, and serves, the community suppers also host a Christmas Party. The party this year was on December 6th, and it was a huge success. I did not count, but, there were easily over 200 people there, enjoying lasagna, salad, and desserts. The Bethel Youth Groups stepped in and provided table service, as well as clean up afterwards.

There was a Christmas gift for all that attended as well, and they try to have gifts for everyone, every year. This is a great ministry, and we enjoy the people and the food. Did I mention this is open to the whole community? Stop in some Wednesday evening.
