Hi! I grew up in the Twin Cities, but I consider myself to be citified small town country. Radio has taken me to northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. I am married to a great guy and we have 3 cats (or maybe they have us, we're not sure)! I volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Healthy Seniors and the local food shelf. I also try to give a bit to the Humane Society. Reading, Quilting and Sudoku are a few of my hobbies. Sports are cool too! I enjoy playing golf (the real kind, not video) and listen to or watch most of the rest...especially baseball. Go Twins!

8 Murals in Steele County

Lisa’s Logic: Skulls Can Be Pretty?
Skulls can be pretty. I know that is kind of a strange statement, but it just so happens it is sort of true. Well, at least it can be put on something with flowers to make it seem like skulls can be pretty.

Lisa’s Logic: What a Cat is Thinking
I see that Tempations, a company that is known to make treats for cats, has maybe made a collar with an app to let us know what our cats are thinking. Did they get the idea from the movie Up with the collars talking for the dogs?
Well, really, not likely...
Lisa’s Logic: Right Back At It

Well, I am on my way to feeling much better...
Lisa’s Logic: A Couple of Big Birds
The other day my husband noticed a couple of big birds in some tall pine trees. To tell the truth, many smaller birds were not too happy about these big birds in their area. The smaller birds were clattering away and letting the big birds, which turned out to be turkey vultures, know...

Lisa’s Logic: What a Great Guy
Husband Appreciation Day was last week, so I gave my husband a few days of peace and went to visit my mom.
I do appreciate him. For one thing, he likes cats.
When we first moved in together, I told him shortly that I needed a cat. So our deal, after the okay from our landlord, he would pay the cable bill and I will pay for the cat...
