
Another Pedestrian Killed in Southern Minnesota
New Ulm, MN (KROC AM News) - A southern Minnesota man is the latest pedestrian to be killed in the state.
The deadly accident happened in New Ulm Thursday afternoon.
The State Patrol reports 63-year-old Craig Schmidt of New Ulm was walking across a street when he was struck. The SUV that hit him was driven by 48-year-old Tammy Waibel of New Ulm. Schmidt was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The State Patrol report did not indicate if Schmidt was in a crosswalk when he was hit.
