Yesterday the Minnesota Vikings reported that 12 members of their organization, including eight players, had presumptive positive tests for the coronavirus.

In addition to the eight players, one coach, and three staff members also had presumptive positive test results.

The Minnesota Vikings were not the only team to see a large number of players test positive for COVID-19. 77 players on 11 teams all received the same results from a New Jersey lab that had partnered with the league.

Following the false alarm, the Minnesota Vikings have no players on the NFL's reserve COVID-19 list. There are currently just three players on the list across the entire league.

The Vikings continue training camp activities at the team headquarters in Eagan in preparation of the regular season opener on Sunday, September 13th against the Green Bay Packers at an empty U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The NFL's entire preseason schedule has been canceled.
