Dexter Leer: OHS senior basketball, Federated Tournament Most Valuable Player
Maddie Wagner: NRHEG sophomore basketball, led team in scoring twice at St. Olaf Tournament

Peyton Robb: OHS freshman wrestler, won title at 106 at tough Christmas Tournament
Spencer Tollefson: NRHEG senior basketball, scored 20 vs. St. Clair

Kacy Borwege: OHS senior goalie, got the shutout at Northfield 1-0
Madison Worke: Blooming Prairie senior, basketball, had a career-high 22 vs. USC

Griffin Thorn: OHS sophomore wrestler, two wins by pin in home opening triangular

Sept. 27:

Alex Emanuelson: OHS quarterback, junior, 15-for-19 for 127 and two touchdowns in win at Austin.

Callie Nagel: Medford libero, sophomore, doing an excellent job in her defensive role for the Tigers.

Sept. 20:

Kaylea Ahrens: OHS volleyball, senior, reached 2,000 career digs on Thursday vs. Mankato West.

Scott Romeo: Blooming Prairie senior linebacker, had several tackles for a loss at St. Clair. “He was in the backfield all night long,” said coach Chad Gimbel

September 13:

Seth Huseby, OHS cross country, sr, has been Owatonna’s #1 runner through the first part of the season.

Alexis Melder, Triton volleyball, so, had 12 kills vs Byron on Thursday and had a strong week on the attack.

September 6:

Dexter Leer, OHS soccer, sr midfielder, averaging nearly 3 points per match. Scored winner late vs Mankato East, scored twice vs Mayo. “Don’t know if there’s a better player in the state,” -coach Bob Waypa

Cole Sunde, Blooming Prairie, sr wide receiver, caught 9 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns at Waterville Elysian Morristown on Friday.

August 30:

Julius Franklin, OHS football, sr, 217 yards, 2 TDs at Winona Thursday

Spencer Tollefson, NRHEG football, sr, 5 receptions, 193 yards, 3 TDs

 

August 23:
Allison Falken, OHS volleyball, sr, led team in kills in season opening win over Prior Lake
Briana Hartmann, OHS tennis, sr, went 6-2 in opening week of the season (4-0, Big 9)
