YouTube Tv Adds More Channels But Hikes Price to $65
With streaming becoming more and more common in house holds, people are cutting the cord and saving money where they can. YouTube how ever has raised their price of their monthly subscription by 30 percent.
YouTube Tv added eight new channels to its service: BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1. According to the release by YouTube, they state that the raise in price reflects the cost of the new content. With the change in cost, YouTube TV is now the most expensive streaming service available compared to Hulu Live ($54.99), AT&T TV ($55 for first year) and Sling ($45). Granted, YouTube TV does offer some benefits that other streaming services don't over like, unlimited DVR space and being able to have 5 other people watch on separate devices at the same time.
