Youth First will be offering a Youth Baseball and Youth Softball Clinic on Saturday, June 25. These clinics will take place at the Steele County Fairgrounds in Owatonna on Diamond 1.

Boys and girls ages 6-9 will meet from 9-10:30AM and boys and girls ages 10-16 will meet between 10:30AM and noon. Parents are invited to bring a glove and take part as well. There's no need to sign up, simply show up.

Each participant will get a free Playball MN gift and t-shirt. A free picnic lunch will be served after each session. There will also be a free photo booth.

On average about 250 young folks show up for these clinics.

Youth First is also playing a role in the Minnesota Wild tour that comes to Owatonna on Wednesday, June 22, from 3:30-4:430PM. The event at the Four Seasons will feature Wild players along with play-by-play man Anthony LaPanta. A Minnesota Wild merchandise trailer will also be on the grounds. Youth First is partnering with Sparetime Entertainment and Cashwise Foods in provided a puck shooting contest with prizes from Sparetime. Cashwise foods will be making root beer floats available as well.
