William “Bill” E. Gallagher, age 63, of Faribault, MN, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, following an extended illness.

William Eugene, the son of Eugene and Dorothy (England) Gallagher, was born on June 19, 1960 in Faribault, MN. Bill grew up in Faribault and attended Bethlehem Academy. Bill worked as a Firefighter in Waseca. Following his time as a firefighter, he spent many years traveling and working at different carnivals and fairs operating different rides, specifically the Tilt-a-Whirl and the Zipper. He then worked as a Direct Service Provider for Lutheran Social Services. He enjoyed being a caregiver to others. He was united in marriage to Susan Goodrich and they later divorced. While he wasn’t working, Bill enjoyed fishing, model trains, shooting pool, playing horseshoes, listening to music, having campfires, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family.

Bill is survived by his sons, Nathan (Jaz), Nicholas, and Kyle (Kayla Corneliussen) Gallagher; sisters, Patti (Mike) Fricke, Theresa (Steve) Moreau, and Laura (Randy) Hagen; former wife, Sue Gallagher; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Michelle Gallagher.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Bill’s family would like to give a special thanks to Minnesota Hospice, especially Chad, Danyelle, Heidi, and Shelby out of the Lakeville office, for their care of Bill.
