Will Working From Home Become a Permanent Thing?
Due to the COVID-19 many people have been working remotely and from home since March and according to a recent survey, it may become a permanent thing for some companies.
The survey comes from S&P Global Market Intelligence and it found that 80% of the companies that participated in the survey stated that they have implemented working from home since the start of the pandemic. An outstanding 67% of the surveyed companies has stated that working from home policies are expected to become a permeant thing.
According to KIMT 3's report, one business that is already switching to the permeant work from home format is Principle Financial. They have cited that the pandemic being the major factor in their decision. Principle Financial has locations in Mason City and Cedar Falls, Iowa, Grand Island, Nebraska, and Spokane, Washington.
