Wafles & Dinges to Host Grand Opening of New Location at MOA Monday

Why wouldn't a Waffle place host a grand opening on National Waffle Day! Well, that's exactly what Wafles & Dinges are doing for their newest location.

Wafels & Dinges, a New York City favorite, is opening their first location outside of the Big Apple. It was announced last year that Minnesota, specifically the Mall of America, would be the location of its newest waffle shop. With their grand opening coinciding with National Waffle Day (August 24), they will be serving free Liege-style Belgian Waffles from 12:30-2p.m. at their location on the 3rd level of MOA.

According to the press release, founder Thomas DeGeest describes his waffles as, "It’s packed with sugar pearls, imported and made from Belgian beets, that burst into irresistible caramelized flavors and a subtle touch of vanilla aromas".

Wafles & Dinges has been named the "Best Belgian Waffle" in NYC and has a Vendy award for "Best Mobile Dessert Vendor".
