Two Deadly Wrecks Involving Semi-trucks In Minnesota
Oak Grove, MN (KROC AM News) - There was a deadly crash Tuesday morning in a Twin Cities suburb involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office reports the crash occurred around 5:00 am in the city of Oak Grove.
The report says the driver of the pickup truck “crossed the centerline
and crashed head-on with the semi-truck.” The man driving the pickup was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt. No names had been released as of Tuesday morning.
A Wisconsin man was killed Monday after crashing his semi-truck in east-central Minnesota.
The crash happened around 8:45 pm in rural Wright County near Monticello. The Minnesota State Patrol reports the truck was driving east on I-94 when it “left the highway and rolled into the ditch.” The semi was hauling a pickup truck. The State Patrol says the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. He was identified as 53-year-old Ronald Biggerstaff of Antigo, Wisconsin. He died at the scene.
