Townsquare Media - Faribault/Owatonna, the home of 1390 KRFO and Kat Kountry 105 is moving to a new space in Owatonna this month.

The stations have called their current location at 245 18th Street Southeast in Owatonna home since 1997, but times, technology, and needs change. After evaluating the best way to operate and serve the community of Owatonna moving forward, it was decided that a new location would be beneficial.

Over the next couple of weeks, Townsquare Media will be moving it's Owatonna operations to the Steele County Fairgrounds, occupying what has been known as the Steele County Sheriff's space in the fairgrounds office building. The Steele County Sheriff’s Office will continue to occupy this space during the annual Steele County Free Fair each August.

Shannon Knoepke, Market President for Townsquare Media in Southern Minnesota, says,

The Owatonna community, our clients and our listeners are at the heart of everything we do. Moving to the Steele County Fairgrounds allows us to simplify our operations while staying deeply connected to the town we’re proud to serve. This move ensures we can continue delivering high-quality content and results-driven client solutions for years to come.

AM 1390 KRFO/94.7 FM (krforadio.com) plays Classic Hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. It's also the Owatonna home of Minnesota Twins baseball, and Owatonna Huskies athletics.

Kat Kountry 105 (krfofm.com) is the proud home of Owatonna's #1 for New Country. Both stations can also be heard on the station websites, mobile apps, and your favorite smart speaker.

The transition from the old location to the new one should come as a seamless transition for both listeners and clients, as Townsquare remains dedicated to providing high-value content for the community and results-driven marketing solutions for our clients.

In addition to KRFO-AM and Kat Kountry 105 in Owatonna, Townsquare Media also operates KDHL-AM and Power 96 in Faribault.
