This Owatonna Retailer Is Already Looking For Holiday Help
Just three days ago people were reminding one another, that we were only 6 months away from Christmas. That must have jolted this retailer into hiring mode as Kohl's announced they're hiring more than 67,000 associates nationwide, to work during the holiday season.
Kohl's is planning to hire an average of 50 associates for each of its 1,163 stores across the country and anticipates filling about 9,300 season positions at their distribution centers and approximately 670 season credit operations positions, where people help with online orders.
Aside from their 15% associate discount, the retailer also is offering paid time off, incentives and bonus programs to go along with flexible scheduling.

It does seem kind of wild that a retailer as big as Kohl's is already looking to fill a position that traditionally begins in November during June but according to money.cnn.com unemployment is 3.8%, the lowest since 2000. For the first time in at least 20 years, there are more job openings than people looking for work.
