The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. The weather is typically really nice and we're pretty fortunate to have a great view of the city's fireworks display. We celebrate each year with a BBQ and blankets or lawn chairs set up in the backyard to enjoy the show. The fireworks last year were the best I've ever seen in this area. If you remember the city of Rochester canceled the 4th of July celebration in 2020 because of COVID, but that didn't stop people from lighting their own, and people went all out. The sky was lit up all night with beautiful fireworks.

Good News: Communities all around the area will be lighting them off this year for Independence Day. We've compiled this huge list with all of the details for you, but if you want to see the biggest firework display in Minnesota you're going to have to take a road trip.

Where Is The Biggest Firework Display in Minnesota?

According to exploreminnesota.com, "the Midwest's greatest Fourth of July celebration and fireworks extravaganza" is in Duluth. The annual "Fourth Fest" at Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth is a free event and families are encouraged to visit to enjoy live music from 4:45 pm - 10:00 pm.

In addition to the music, there are food, beverage, and craft vendors at the festival. The main event is the amazing fireworks display which starts at 10:10 pm and is said to be the biggest in the entire state.
