Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minneapolis Police say a 16-year-old boy was the victim of a deadly hit and run Tuesday night.

A news release says the teenager was found lying on a street running through a residential neighborhood around 8:30 PM and was rushed to a nearby hospital in very critical condition. Minneapolis officers at the scene were told the driver of the vehicle that struck the juvenile victim had fled the scene, but the suspect was arrested about a block away where the vehicle was found stopped in a yard. The driver had also collided with several parked cars and it is suspected drugs or alcohol were involved.
