The end of the business day this Friday is the deadline for local homeowners with storm damage to submit applications for possible Federal disaster assistance.

Often times these out-of-town businesses will descend into communities, leave behind door hangers, and notes, and will never be heard from again. Don't be fooled or pressured by someone who just shows up!

Hurricane Ida made landfall at 11:55 a.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021, and since then, the storm has left a trail of catastrophic damage in her path.

The clean-up will continue for some time after the storms that rolled through the area on Thursday.
