In addition to announcing a boatload of new LEGO Star Wars products coming to tie into Force Friday II, LEGO finally revealed the rumored revamp of its Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon set. Originally released in 2007, the Millennium Falcon set was one of the most sought-after LEGO vehicles ever sold. In the last 10 years however, it's been impossible to find at a fair price. Now on the verge of the ninth proper Star Wars film release, LEGO is releasing an all-new take on the Falcon that is not only the largest set ever released, it's also frighteningly amazing.

We’re still reeling from the news that Phil Lord and Chris Miller have walked off (or been fired from) the Han Solo spinoff Star Wars anthology film, but this movie has a release date in less than a year, and it is coming to theaters, with Lord/Miller or not. Although the news that the directing duo was not finishing Han Solo was announced today, the search for a replacement was already underway. What if I told you that there was another Star Wars universe very different from the one you know? And Luke Skywalker and C-3PO ... well, actually, those parts are still played by Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels. Some things are just multiversal constants.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ Knocked ‘Star Wars’ Out of the All-Time Domestic Box Office Top 10
This past weekend, a seismic shift in box-office history took place and went largely unnoticed. The writing was on the wall for Star Wars’ legacy in the all-time top 10 highest-earning films, as noted on Reddit prior to the start of this past weekend. Box-office behemoth Beauty and the Beast continued to generate healthy grosses in its fifth weekend of release, ending the weekend with a princely (or should I say, princessly!) sum of $471.1 million. This gave the film a slight edge of the next-most-lucrative film on the list, which just so happened to be George Lucas’ original space opus. Star Wars and its lifetime gross of $461 million have now slid down to the #11 spot.
