In Class 2A, defending champion Cannon Falls took a two sets to none lead in their final against Caledonia 25-17, 25-18 before the Warriors achieved 25-11, 25-15, 15-8 victories to advance to state.

Halloween the Section 1A Semi-Finals take place with the title match at 6:00 p.m. on November 2, 2023.

K-W was able to defeat some excellent teams without the services of their outstanding libero Rachel Ryan, senior. Ryan was at her brother's wedding.

Bethlehem Academy is at Kenyon-Wanamingo Tuesday, September 19, 2023 for a match that will be broadcast on KDHL 920 AM, 97.9 FM and worldwide on FREE KDHL app.

Faribault Bethlehem Academy is ranked in top five of Class A. Northfield is #2 in Class AAA. Cannon Falls still #1 in Class AA. Lakeville North #2 in Class AAAA.

The regular season ends this week with final tournaments on Saturday. Most Section seeds will be revealed on Sunday.

The Northfield Raiders have defeated every team on their schedule to date to get to their 9-0 record including a few South Suburban Conference teams like #3 Class 4A Lakeville North, #10 Class 4A Lakeville South, Eagan and Farmington. They also beat #7 Chaska.

Class 4A All-State selections included Northfield juniors Sydney Jaynes and Teagan Timperly along with Rochester Century junior Paige Decker.
