The announcement comes just a couple weeks after Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn announced his retirement to move to Arizona for his wife's job promotion.
Current and past military members could be honored by the community. The banners would have a picture of the Hometown Hero. They would replace some of the current banners in the downtown area.
Johnston Hall was once part of the Seabury Divinity School started by Bishop Henry Whipple. It was built in 1888 for $50,000. Constructed from Faribault Blue Limestone.
