Owatonna Activities Director Ryan Swanson said he believed it was a record-setting day at OHS as 14 athletes and their families and friends gathered to recognize their commitments to college sports teams. The afternoon had the feel of a pep rally as the student-athletes were introduced two-by-two to sign their Letter of Intent and get a round of applause.

Gustavus Adolphus junior and Owatonna High School graduate Briana Hartmann won the ITA Midwest Regional singles title Sunday to earn All-America honors, according to a news release from the Gustavus Adolphus Sports Information Department.

Congratulations and best of luck to all high school and college graduates. Hooray! You did it! This is a time that could cause some people to cry, maybe tear up and some are just plain excited to move on. It is a great day, a great time...
