Steele Co. United Way Campaign Begins

The Steele County United Way held their kickoff to their 2019 campaign during the Steele County Fair when they announced that AmesburyTruth will be serving as the corporate campaign leader. The Workforce Campaign kicked off last week with better than 40 companies agreeing to take part in this year's campaign. This year's campaign goal has been raised to $800,000. Last year's campaign exceeded goal and took in some $780,000.

This campaign will support 27 local agencies in Steele County along with 4 United Way of Steele County Partner Opportunity programs. Individuals will be receiving reminders soon that the campaign is underway. Besides payroll deductions, you can make donations directly or make a pledge and get billed quarterly. You can also donate online. You may also text UWSC to 40403 to donate.
