St Paul (KROC AM News) -  A Bloomington man was arrested Tuesday after apparently starting his house on fire - AFTER he apparently set an ex-girlfriend on fire.

The case began around 9:00 am Tuesday when police officers and first responders were called to a shipping warehouse in St. Paul.

That’s where they found “a woman in her 40s who was unresponsive and not breathing and appeared to have been badly burned.”

The St Paul PD says “officers were able to quickly identify a suspect, who had been in a previous relationship with the victim.” The man was found a short while later near his home in Bloomington, “which was on fire.”
