The National Weather Service says that severe thunderstorms are possible across most of Minnesota this evening.

The most-likely timing of storms is between 5 and 10 pm, with the primary threat being large hail and damaging winds, with a tornado also a less-likely threat.

Be ready to take shelter indoors this evening, and have multiple ways to receive weather warnings.

From the National Weather Service this morning: At least a few non-severe thunderstorms are likely this morning. Another round of thunderstorms is possible this evening with some potentially becoming severe between 5-11 PM. If thunderstorms this morning become more widespread, then the severe threat this evening may decrease.
