Ronald “Ronnie” Stadler, age 83, of Faribault, MN, passed away February 7, 2024, at St. Anthony Park Home following an extended illness.

Ronald William was born on February 7, 1941, in Faribault, MN, the son of Albert and Leona (Durand) Stadler.  He graduated from Faribault High School and later served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 – 1965 on the USS Howard W. Gilmore and the USS Hornet.  Following his discharge, he worked at Nutting Truck and Caster Co. and in construction for many years. Ronnie was a plaster tender for different contractors, but mostly with his brothers. He was married to Denise Odette on November 13, 1974. Ronnie loved to play the guitar. He learned how to play from one of his brothers and enjoyed playing with all of them. He also enjoyed their large family gatherings.  Ronnie was a member of the VFW and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Stadler; son, Steve Stadler (Mary); grandsons, Dylan Stadler (Jayda), Jax Stadler, and Dalton Thompson; great grandchildren, Dominic and Stella Stadler; siblings, Ken Stadler (Amber), Patricia Knott, and Barbara Savoie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Leona; seven brothers, Harry, Paul, Herbie, David “Judd”, Donald, Bill, and Robert “Bucky” Stadler; four sisters, Doris Goodknight, Phyllis Ress, Eunice Mahagnoul, and Audrey Stephens; an infant sister, Margie Stadler, and a still born sister, Pamela Stadler.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment with military honors will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.
