Johnson announced the Blue Collar Music Festival is moving to Teepee Tonka Park in August.
He emphasized they are not abandoning the downtown.
I commented the former Tree Frog Music Festival was enjoyed by many including myself and one of the benefits in that area was the acoustics.
Tree Frog started in 1996 on the Shattuck Campus and ended in 2012 when sponsorships dried up due to a recession.
The event was held in Teepee Tonka Park from year two until it ended.
