Prep Football: Week 3 Schedule [Updated]

Owatonna has their first Friday Night Lights game of 2020. Blooming Prairie goes on a long road trip to face a club they haven't played in a long time, if ever. NRHEG's home game is moved south. Triton's road game is switched to a home contest. Medford's Saturday Night Lights is shifted to an afternoon tilt. Be ready for the unexpected at all times this year.

No. 3 rated Owatonna (2-0) hosts Rochester Century (1-1) Friday night, after playing a pair of Saturday games to open the season. The Panthers feature dynamo, and future Division I player at Augustana, Isaiah Huber. Huskies coach Jeff Williams says, "He is the fastest kid in the conference...it's going to be important for us to pursue the ball, to have eleven guys around the ball at all times. If kids give up on a play...he's got the ability to go the distance."

No. 1 ranked Blooming Prairie makes a 70-mile jaunt to Lewiston to face the Cardinals of Lewiston-Altura. BP coach Chad Gimbel said on Saturday's AM 1390 KRFO Coaches Show, "They are a wing-T team, they're going to do a lot of misdirection, a lot of flying around." He says his players "have to follow their keys."
