St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was killed in a house fire in St. Paul on Sunday.

The St. Paul Fire Department says the fire in an older home was reported shortly after 8:30 AM. The responding firefighters were informed one of the residents of the home was missing and that person was found deceased inside the burning home.

The name of the victim has not been released and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, although it is presumed to be accidental.

It was the first fatal fire in St. Paul this year.
