Only a few people in this country have no idea what 'Jeopardy!' is, as the American television show has been a hit since the mid-60s. 

The game is so popular that it has become a part of our daily lives, so much so that I remember playing the game in elementary school, middle school, and even high school. I hate to admit it, but I was never crowned champion.

Hopefully, these two Minnesotans will find more luck than I when they compete on Jeopardy! National College Championship, which begins airing this Tuesday, February 8th. 

The final episode will air Tuesday, February 22nd.

According to Bring Me The News, "Burnsville native Chance Persons, a sophomore at Creighton University, and University of Minnesota sophomore Emmey Harris, from Lincoln, Nebraska, are among the 36 contestants vying for the grand prize of $100,000 and the title of Jeopardy! National College Champion."

Persons is studying physics and chemistry. He will be featured on episode three, which airs Thursday, February 10th.

Harris is a history major and will be featured on the Wednesday, February 9th episode.

Mayim Bialik will host the annual championship, which will be available for streaming on Hulu as well as on ABC. 

In 2020, Nibir Sarma, an Eden Prairie native, competed while studying at the University of Minnesota. He won $100,000 and was named the College Champion
