Even though there will not be a Rice County Fair this year, the fairgrounds are still hosting an event the weekend that the fair would have been taking place. Be sure to check out the 'Cruise into the Fairground' event Friday night from 6-9pm as there will be a car show and fair food available, and then on Saturday to go with your corn dogs and cheese curds be prepared for...LIVE MUSIC! 

On Friday, Faribault Main Street, which has hosted previous area cruises is sponsoring a 'Cruise into the Fairgrounds' car show along the Rice County Fair Midway. Parking spaces will be spaced 6 feet apart and expect to see plenty of chrome.

To go along with the car show, enjoy some fair food from some of the Rice County Fair food vendors as they will be on site from Friday through Saturday. The vendors that will be participating in the event next weekend are  Godfathers Pizza, Temple Concessions, Lopez Concessions, and MinneSnowii Shave Ice. Times that the food vendors will be serving food will be Friday 3-8pm and Saturday 1- 8pm.

Saturday offers those who swing down to the Rice County Fair for some lunch or dinner, will also be greeted with what the Rice County Fair has stated to be live music being played at the fairgrounds in the afternoon.

As of right now, the artist/artists/group/groups haven't been announced yet for Saturday afternoon.

If you plan on attending it's being asked that attendees follow all of the social distancing protocols.
