New Mac and Cheese Restaurant About an Hour from Owatonna!

Are you a die-hard fan of mac and cheese? Well, your prayers may have been answered because there is a Mac and Cheese Restaurant called “I Heart Mac & Cheese and more” that just opened up in Woodbury, and you need to go check it out!

From Different mac and cheese bowls, to grilled cheese, to even a tacoroni (taco shell stuffed with mac and cheese), this place really does have it all on the menu. Not only this but Gluten Free & Vegan (Beyond Meat) options are available for a majority of the dishes (yayyy)!

So, what is this place all about? I can get mac and cheese anywhere, why go here? Well as beautifully stated on their website, I Heart Mac & Cheese is a rapidly expanding fast-casual concept specializing in “customizable, made-to-order macaroni and cheese bowls with a variety of health-conscious bases including quinoa, broccoli, cauliflower, gluten-free pasta, grilled cheese sandwiches. With vegan cheese sauce and plant-based proteins, I Heart Mac & Cheese continues to evolve to meet the needs of our guests.” All I have to say to that is “Wowww, that is amazing!”

Looking at the menu, you can tell they want to provide delicious and creative dishes for you to stuff your mouth with. Bowl items include things like Buffalo Blue Mac & Cheese, Short Rib Philly Mac & Cheese, and Skinny, Sweet & Spicy Bowl. From the grilled cheese menu there are items like The Best Of Both Worlds (Mac and cheese sandwich!), and Bacon, Love, Tomato (BLT) Grilled Cheese.

In my mind, however, the best Items on the menu include the Tacoroni (which is a build-your-own mac & cheese stuffed inside a crunchy, nacho flavor taco shell!), and the Signature Mac Bites (like a fried or tater tot like mac bites available in 3 flavors, Buffalo, Pepperoni, and Classic.). and don’t worry they also have a couple of dessert items and of course, it includes Cheesecake Bites!
