While the 2020 Minnesota State Fair has been a bust for most of us, one Minnesota couple is calling it the "best fair ever."

Over the weekend, a Minnesota woman Alex Jasmine posted to Twitter to say, "I may be the only one to say this, but 2020 was the best fair ever!!" She goes on to share that her boyfriend proposed at the food parade. "How?" you may ask. Oh, you know...just with a banner flying behind a plane!

One of Alex's photos posted to Twitter shows the banner with the words "Alexandria Will You Marry Me? Courtney." Courtney, needless to say, is her now-fiance. Additional photos show Courtney down on one knee, the ring on Alex's finger and the smiling couple together.

According to Bring Me the News, there were about 15 known engagements/proposals at the Great Minnesota Get Together last year, at least based on social media posts the State Fair was tagged in. In a follow-up Tweet, Alex also shared that she and Courtney met on the dating website Bumble. Bumble is unique from other dating sites in that the woman initiates communication with the man first.
