The first round of the NFL playoffs begin this weekend and Minnesota Vikings have real reason to get excited, but also be nervous at the same time. We ended the season with a 13-4 record and probably lost ten years or more off our lives watching so many close games.

One of those games was Christmas Eve, when we hosted the New York Giants and won with an game ending, 61-yard, record breaking field goal by Greg Joseph.

It was a thrilling game, but a little too close for comfort. Now here we are hosting the Giants once more. This time though it's all or nothing. Win or go home. It's playoff season baby and the regular season doesn't mean anything now.

Regardless of that all, we are hosting again and it's a playoff game. Which means we need to bring a little bit more in regards to the halftime show. Vikings doing their part to make the halftime show a memorable one by announcing that well known rapper Ludacris will perform this Sunday.

It is for sure to be a good halftime show if you're at the stadium. Will those of us watching at home get the opportunity to see any of it. That I can't actually answer, but I have a hard time believing we will. But if you aren't at the game and able to see him at halftime, you do have a second chance to see him as Ludacris is touring with Janet Jackson and they'll be back in the Twin Cities, at Xcel Energy Center Tuesday, May 30.
