Minnesota Twins Introduce New Menu Items at Target Field
If the ultimate goal is to feel so full they've got to roll you out of the ballpark, then do I have some good news for you.
The Minnesota Twins have their 2018 home opener coming up this Thursday, and while the players could be dealing with one of the coldest openers in team history with snow and mid 30's in the forecast, Target Field's concessions are just starting to heat up.
In a 10 minute Facebook Live video, the team introduced a ton of tasty new menu items for the 2018 season. From chicken sandwiches, to burgers and from seafood to even a new Blood Mary (seen above) that features, get this: Three slabs of sausage, a sausage stick, pepper jack cheese, celery, and then a bacon cheeseburger on top of a breakfast sandwich... This thing should keep anybody satisfied from the first pitch through extra innings alone!
You can see what this monster, along with the other meals look like right now on their Twitter page HERE, including the fun frozen hot chocolate from Andrew Zimmern's Canteen. Plus the other new feature they're hyping up is their Gate 34 Draft Wall that will feature a Glen Perkins-inspired IPA from Minnesota's own Surly Brewing Company. Delicious!
Having been to over 20+ games at Target Field the past eight seasons, I like knowing the team is never satisfied in connecting to the casual baseball fans needs because it makes the hard-core fans like me appreciate all the new additions and treats that much more. It's nice not always seeing and experiencing the same ol' same ol' every time I walk into one of the best ballparks in MLB.
