Minnesota College Ranked One of the ‘Best Bang for Your Buck’ for 2021
College is really expensive and because of how expensive college has gotten it's difficult for some people to go to college. However, some colleges are working to make college more affordable and that's how they ended up on the Washington Monthly list of the 2021 Best Bang for Your Buck Colleges. On their midwest list of colleges, a Minnesota college is in the top 10!
In order to figure out which colleges are the best bang for your buck, Washington Monthly looked at the colleges "according to how well they help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices." On the chart they have ranking each college, they have many specific items they looked at. Some of those include the 8-year graduation rate, the net price of attendance for families below $75, the percent of loan principal remaining after 5 years.
Based on everything they looked at (you can see more specifics HERE), they determined that Gustavus Adolphus College is one of the top 10 best bang for your buck colleges in the midwest. That would also put them as the number one best for Minnesota.
