News flash... it's very cold in Minnesota. 😱 I thought growing up in Colorado would make Minnesota winters easier. Nope... there's this thing called humidity up here which makes it bone-chilling cold in the land of ten thousand lakes. Twenty degrees here is way colder than 20 degrees in Colorado. A Minnesota based company Arctic Denim has a solution to that problem of winters being bone-chilling cold.

Arctic Denim is a jean company that manufactures jeans in the United States. These jeans can be worn in temperatures ranging from 40 degrees above to 60 degrees below. Their secret... the three unique layers that make up their jeans. Their website says the outside is denim that makes their pants look like jeans. They are then followed by a layer that is waterproof, windproof and breathable material that makes it so you can wear the pants in all Minnesota weather conditions that mother nature might throw at you. The last layer is a mesh stabilizer to help with breathability.

You might wonder how the buttons and rivets are able to withstand the cold temperatures? The company has tested materials and found some that work perfectly under cold conditions. A pair of these jeans will run you around $198 dollars. That's a lot of money for a pair of jeans, but if you are outside a lot, it might be worth it. They come in multiple colors and two styles, but there is a catch. The catch here is these jeans don't stretch as much as normal jeans because of the material they have to use to make them waterproof. This means you have to make sure you get the right size when you order.

It seems like these jeans are perfect for anyone who works outside or loves to be in the snow all winter long. If you have a pair, let us know what you think of them in the station app.
