The Minnesota Animal Humane Society is beginning virtual visitations and drive-up adoptions. They announced the decision on their Facebook page. They will start by only offering this for kittens.

You can find animals that are available for adoption HERE. If you find one that you want to adopt you can submit an interest form. Then someone from the Humane Society will get in contact with you if they think you're potentially a good match. They'll talk to you to determine if you and the animal would be a good fit. They'll also tell you about the animal's "medical history, the adoption contract, and more." Then, if you want to adopt the pet, you'll have to submit a $25 hold and then you can set up a time to come pick up your new family member!

I'm so glad they came up with a solution to overcome the current situation. Animals are still up for adoption and still looking for their forever homes. We just needed to find a way to complete the adoption process safely.
